01 What it is
The REPP P‑TAS is a heavy-duty, dual-axis firearm stabilisation and transit platform built for quad bikes and all-terrain vehicles. It consists of a rigid base frame designed to fit a standard ATV cargo rack, topped with twin stainless steel plated rails fitted with high-capacity sliding linear bearings.
Those bearings carry a sliding carriage plate, which is what delivers smooth, friction-free left-to-right target tracking over 800 mm of travel. Centred on that carriage is a professional-grade swivel ball head — the sort used on hunting tripod stands — offering 360-degree rotation and extreme tilt, with a modular quick-release clamp receiver on top giving three rifle mount standards. That takes Arca-Swiss plates, Picatinny rail adaptors or the padded front rifle clamp.
Vertical elevation comes from a 12-volt powered electric elevator: a motorised scissor lift assembly, driven by a weather-resistant 12V linear actuator wired to the vehicle's electrical system and controlled by two self-centering push-button switches on the handlebars — so the operator can raise or lower the rifle without letting go of the handlebars. It runs from 100 mm at its lowest to 300 mm at its highest, and the lift is rated to 80 kg.
The rails are not carried on a raised bracket: they sit on top of an alloy plate, and that plate sits on top of the scissor lift, so the whole stack rises together. At the rear, a Kolpin Rhino Grip Pro lockable butt-stock clamp secures the rifle for transit over rough terrain. The whole unit is engineered from high-tensile, powder-coated steel and alloy to withstand recoil, vibration and harsh weather.
It is built for both right- and left-handed shooters. Which one is settled during assembly: the alloy plate has a tapered end that flips to your side, and the Kolpin stock rest mounts on that same side. The longer 1000 mm rail always runs closest to you and the handlebars, leaving a 200 mm overhang on the other side for accessories. The build stages are on the DIY fitting page.
02 Demonstration
Nineteen seconds of the actual mechanism working: the 12 volt motorised scissor lift driving through its full range, and the carriage plate running the stainless steel plated rails on its bearings.
Filmed in the workshop on the development prototype before powder coating — which is why the frame is bare metal here rather than one of the three production colours. The mechanism is identical to what ships.
03 Component breakdown
A rigid frame designed to fit a standard ATV cargo rack. It carries every load the system sees — recoil, road shock and the weight of the rifle — into the bike's existing rack structure. No cutting or drilling of the chassis.
A 1000 mm rail and an 800 mm rail, with end stop caps on one end and the Kolpin stock rest acting as the stopper at the other, so the carriage cannot run off. The plating is there because the rails are the one surface that has to stay smooth after years of grit, dust and rain.
Two wide, double-width roller bearings ride the rails and carry the carriage plate — the Mark 2 arrangement, in place of the four corner bearings the Mark 1 used. They are what make the traverse friction-free under load rather than something you have to shove.
The rails sit on top of an alloy plate, and that plate sits on top of the scissor lift — not on a raised bracket. Above it, the sliding carriage is the moving deck that everything else is built on. Slide it left or right to track a target without breaking your rest.
A professional-grade swivel ball head, as used on hunting tripod stands, centred on the carriage and giving 360° rotation and extreme tilt. It locks solid under recoil and releases when you want to reposition.
Swivel ball head with a modular quick-release receiver on top. That takes Arca-Swiss plates, Picatinny rail adaptors or the padded front rifle clamp — three standards, so most setups drop straight on.
Motorised scissor lift, sitting under the platform and raising the entire carriage assembly from 100 mm to 300 mm. A scissor mechanism was used because it lifts straight up without the platform wandering fore and aft as it rises. Rated to 80 kg.
Weather-resistant, wired into the vehicle's electrical system, and driven by two self-centering push-button switches on the handlebars — one up, one down. Push in and it runs, let go and it stops exactly where it is.
Lockable butt-stock clamp at the rear of the carriage plate. Clad the stock in the Kolpin rest and secure it with the rubber clamp, and with the ball head holding the fore-end the rifle is captured at both the front and the rear end for transit.

05 Colours
The P‑TAS Pro-Target-Acquisition-System has three different colour choices, all the same price. Choose at checkout. Note that the P‑TAS name cannot be cut in on every unit.

06 In the box
Arca-Swiss plates and Picatinny adaptors are accepted by the receiver but are not supplied — most owners already run one. Mounting points to the vehicle are set by the owner; see the DIY fitting guide.
07 Questions
Expected delivery is by 31 January 2027. This is not a pre-order or a crowdfunding campaign — production is running right now, and your order is allocated against a unit on the current build run.
We will be straight with you: there is a chance of factory downtime over that period, so treat the date as the expected delivery rather than a guarantee. You will get a despatch notification with tracking the day your unit leaves the workshop.
No. Tooling is finished and the production run is live as we speak. You are ordering a manufactured product from a current build run, not funding a concept. The first batch is 50% sold out.
Freight is not included in the $1,800 price. It is calculated at checkout against your delivery address anywhere in Australia, so you see the figure before you commit.
The P‑TAS mounts to a standard ATV / quad cargo rack. That is what it is designed and built for.
Mounting it is the owner's job, so you need to be across how you are going to do it on your own machine before you order. Anything that is not a standard cargo rack is a DIY fit — every part is supplied, but you set the mounting points yourself. See the DIY fitting page.
Yes. Every unit ships with two 6-inch marine-grade suction mounts, which attach into the slots. That is what takes the P‑TAS off the bike: mount it on top of a vehicle roof to shoot from, or on a bonnet for target practice and zeroing a rifle scope.
A 12-volt powered electric elevator — a motorised scissor lift under the platform, driven by a weather-resistant 12V linear actuator wired into the vehicle's electrical system.
It runs off two self-centering push-button switches on the handlebars, one for up and one for down. Push a button in and it moves; it stops exactly where you let go. So you raise the P‑TAS using the electric elevator without letting go of the handlebars.
The swivel ball head carries a modular quick-release receiver giving three rifle mount standards. That takes Arca-Swiss plates, Picatinny rail adaptors or the padded front rifle clamp. Anything already running an Arca or Picatinny interface drops straight on.
Yes — that is exactly what the rear clamp is for. The Kolpin Rhino Grip Pro lockable butt-stock clamp captures the stock, and with the ball head holding the fore-end the rifle is secured at both the front and the rear end for the ride home.
The frame, rails and carriage are built from high-tensile powder-coated steel and alloy specifically to take recoil, vibration and weather. The scissor lift is rated to an 80 kg load. The carriage plate rides on high-capacity sliding linear bearings over twin stainless steel plated rails. It gives you smooth, friction-free traverse to track a target without breaking your position or restarting your setup.

Yes. The P‑TAS is made for both left- and right-handed shooters — which one is decided while you assemble it, not afterwards.
The alloy plate has a tapered end: taper on the right is the right-handed build, and for a left-hander the plate is flipped so the taper is on the left. The Kolpin stock rest then mounts on that same side. The longer 1000 mm rail always sits closest to you and the handlebars either way, leaving a 200 mm overhang on the other side for accessories. No cutting or drilling of the chassis. The base frame mounts to the existing cargo rack. The only vehicle integration is the 12V supply for the electric elevator and running the switch lead up to the handlebars.
